Mac Fullscreen Issue

Author Topic: Mac Fullscreen Issue  (Read 1239 times)

Hello, hope you all are doing well here on the forums.
I need some help with an annoying issue I'm having with my Blockland game.

For some reason, since V20 (Or it was my switch from Mac OS X Snow Leopard to Lion):

When I attempt to choose fullscreen, it automatically has the Blockland window disapeer completely, with no way to bring it back.

This might be a problem with Lion, or it could be Blockland, or my card. In the end, if anyone knows why this happens, how to fix it, temporary or otherwise, I would be greatly appreciative. I have a fresh install of Blockland, and all active programs closed when I play.

IMPORTANT:
UPON LOGGING BACK INTO BLOCKLAND, IT IS IN FULLSCREEN, BUT AT A VERY LOW RESOLUTION, WHICH WHEN CHANGED TO A HIGHER ONE, RESULTS IN LOSS OF THE WINDOW, AGAIN.

My Specs:

Macbook Pro Mid 2010 (7,1)
Processor  2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
Memory  4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
Graphics  NVIDIA GeForce 320M 256 MB
Software  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

Thanks!

I think I heared there was a problem with lion.
You need to update to mountain lion if there is such a thing

It also doesn't work on mountain lion

So then it's a problem with blockland I guess.

No, it's probably the fullscreen feature in Lion breaking it.

I have A MAC 10.5.8 (Very Old) And I can run FullScreen with no problems :o

I have an old mac that used to have 10.5.8 and the fullscreen worked just fine. Then I upgraded to 10.6 and I've been having the same exact issues as the author of this thread. Someone else in another thread mentioned changing the bit depth to 16 but I could only select 32.

I have 10.6.8 and it works fine for me.

Apple changed the stuff required for fullscreen on Lion.

This seems like very low priority, though.
