Default game mode?

Hello, This is my first post here on the blockland forum and i have owned blockland for almost a week now. A few more days to a week.

What i want to know is how to set up a server to where when you log into it by default your in the game. Like "Uncle Fun Timez Star Wars CTF" the owner is my real life buddy. Anyways i thought id ask here.

This is also the same for any other server like the go cart racing and the trench wars servers. When you login to them you are by default in the game mode.

How do i do that so when you log into my server your automatically into the "one in the chamber" Game mode? I would like to know as i plan to make a server and test it out and possibly get a good map for it. If i can get this to work i will be running a 24/7 server on linux VPS that i have.

But i would still like to know how to set this up for testing before i go onto a VPS.

Do you know how to use wine?
If you don't you are going to run into some problems because it is a Linux VPS and Blockland doesn't officially support VPS's.

I know how to use Linux and i can follow the Linux tutorial easily. it doesn't bother me any. I am currently using my VPS for a private server for another game but i am going to be shutting that down cause it dosent have anyone on it.

I want to use it for this game but i dont want to have it up all the time for a crappy server. I want to make sure the game mode is working correctly and i pick a good temporary map to go with it. You know?

But i need to know how to make the game mode load automatically when you log into the game like all the other servers do.

Run blockland like this

pathtoexe/Blockland.exe -dedicated -gamemode One in the chamber

OK, Thanks i will try that once i see if my VPS company will put a VPS in my server list.

Since i logged in to reinstall the Ubuntu OS and i didnt have any servers in my list -_- Probably cause it was either using to many resources or they just shut it down.

But if they give me a VPS back in my list then i can run this server on a VPS...

You'll need to download the gamemode from the add-ons section and place the (unextracted) zip file into your add-ons directory.

Yeah i know. I also just noticed that my VPS was removed from my acount. Why i dont know and the server was SSH only anyway so i dont know if it would even work.
