Author Topic: Can't Host A Server?  (Read 801 times)

For some reason when i make a server and invite my friends via RTB they can't join.

It says it's not showing up on the master server.

Any help?

Did you port forward and/or is UPnP properly enabled?

OHHH wait nevermind what I just said..

You can't join servers with RTB right now. It's something Badspot changed about the way IP's are displayed. RTB doesn't properly fetch the first section of the IP.

sorry for triple post

  • IP addresses are no longer prefixed by "IP:", hopefully this doesn't break everything

From the current development topic. This is the reason why RTB doesn't properly let you join servers.

Still not joinable no matter what.

If that isn't the problem, then:

I didn't think i had to port forward anymore thanks to the master server.

What. Your router needs to support UPnP (which I think almost all routers support) and it has to be enabled in the router settings (enabled by default I am almost sure) and make sure "Disable UPnP" is unchecked in the network. If that doesnt work try Port Forwarding the Port 28000 UDP and TCP.

Ok, i have UPnP enabled and i tried port forwarding blockland.

It still will not work.

Now what?

Are you trying to invite your friends via RTB? If so don't because right now that feature is broken. Make then join in normally, if they still can't join then you possibly may have Port Forwarded incorrectly maybe.
