Author Topic: Whenever I try to join servers (ONLY WITH SOME IT DOES THIS) it just won't load  (Read 860 times)

In some servers, it can just take up to 5 minutes and sometimes it won't load at all and it'll say "Timed out".
How do I fix this?
Please no responses like "you have a bad computer" or "you must have a bad connection" because my connection is fine and so is my computer.

Help would be appreciated.

This is the fault of the server.

This is a problem because of the server. It usually means the server isn't up anymore.
Having a Ping of --- also usually means this.

What exactly is "ping"?

The time it takes for the information to travel from your computer and back.
If it has a --- ping, that means that you have not received any information from the server.
So if you don't have any signal from the server, you cant join it.

You could start by posting a console log in which you were "Timed out."

Find a server that you always time out of, start Blockland, attempt to join it, time out, quit, post the console log.

Please don't join 15 different servers and expect us to know on which one the problem occurred.

There's actually a way to block ping with a router, this is mostly useful so people can't use the ping IPADDRESS command in CMD.
