Author Topic: Blockland Office/Headquarters?  (Read 1922 times)

One thing I have always wondered about Blockland is where the staff work from. Is there a main Blockland Building or Office rental that they work in? Because updates come very slowly I'm guessing Eric (Badspot) is just sitting in his house eating a bagel with 10 alienwares hosting all of Blockland and it's mainframe and stuff. What do you think, or what do you know?

He lives in Blocklandia.

And, He IS the master server.
We are all playing on him.
That's why he knows so much.

Probably mostly just that.

if i remember correctly badspot tripped over the cable that connected the master server to the internet and it shut down for like 20 minutes

it was pretty lol

it's actually pretty funny to think about him sitting there eating a bagel, coding blockland

it's probably happened. unless he doesn't like bagels. badspot if you read this just replace "bagel" with whatever your favorite snack food is.

he close to buying the sears tower, he just needs to ban glass for another 20$

I don't think there is an HQ, I just think he does it at his house as an at-home job for Garage Games. But idk this stuff

Oh, my sides.

I think someone hosts the master server and the websites for him.

I can imagine his complex database of keys.

I believe SoftLayer hosts the dedicated server for PC. I think Badspot just does all of the updates at his house, maybe he invites Rotondo or something (if they live close) or they do everything via Skype. If Blockland maybe had a couple more buyers (we get at least 2 buyers a day I think, maybe more) Badspot could probably attempt to develop a small indie company...although some changes would be made I think.

Im pretty sure that there are more than two people buying the game a day.
