Author Topic: Gaming Mouse & Gaming Keyboard Megathread!  (Read 10438 times)

I don't understand high DPI people. I like a lazy 2300 DPI.

Pretty much everyone that uses my mouse hates it, I'm at 5700 DPI. I want to go higher too.

That's when you just unplug it from the computer. Its not that hard

Hard to tell when a full page of posts combined in this topic are discussing how to cover the LED.

I used to wonder what the point was in using a "gaming" mouse instead of a normal mouse until my mom got me a G500 to replace the mouse I was using (It was starting to wear out)

After using it I can't really go back, the extra buttons come in handy in games like Arma where there is a boatload of things to bind (although most games don't usually support more then four or five buttons, so I currently have the sixth button bound to print screen for those Kodak moments) The scroll wheel catch toggle comes in handy when one needs to scroll though a stuffload of stuff (Or you're just bored) and the sensitivity adjustment buttons are handy for those times in games where normally using a turret requires you to do five full mouse pad swipes in order to do a half-turn, or you need to aim a bit more precisely.

50 cents at a garage sale. beat that.

I have a Sharkoon fireglider;

Reasonably comfortable, good feet, more than adequate DPI, weights, 3 macro buttons and I can change the function of any button to anything I want.

Cost me a mere £25, and I've had it for a year or two now, hasn't failed me yet

that looks uncomfortable as hell
it's like basically holding a phone sideways and attempting to use it as a precise instrument
it probably gets hot as hell too christ

...wait what

how is your mouse heating up

why
Found out that it doesn't heat up.

LED's don't generate much heat. It won't be anymore noticeable than the heat your palm generates on a normal mouse. You're thumb could hit those buttons pretty easily.

Found out that it doesn't heat up.

I was wondering about that, LED's don't really generate heat. I was confused by everyone going on about it.
