Why is DPI such a major selling point. Just increase your loving sensitivity with settings, does it really have to be hardware embedded?

Because you can't set it with software. It's a hardware setting based on the sensor of your mouse. You just proved you have no idea what you're talking about.

would actually probably be good for cleaning. what i really want is a water proof mice/keyboard set so i can take it out back and hose it when it gets dirty.
