Author Topic: Rant on testing at my school (CMTs).  (Read 2741 times)

some test you do in middle school will not affect your future
It affects whether we 'pass our grade' :/

At our school we get two hours of extra sleep this whole week because of state testing.  Thank God its my last year for state testing.

Answer at least 10% of the questions wrong or you will be accused of cheating
turn your head 10 degrees and your disqualified

High school exams are more strict.
You can't talk during them or everyones test gets ripped up and they have to retake it.

was that some sort of lame joke?
Waru always insults me.

He can be an starfish.

Waru always insults me.
He didn't even insult you in the proper way, lol.

He's getting on my nerves.

lol you whiny prat
How the forget do you get away with this stuff? It's 100% flaming.

op seems to have a sob story every week about how miserably hard school/life/existence is

it's probably there to fill in time since having school start or get out at a weird time is pretty useless for everyone involved

also are you like really out of shape or what i dont get why youre whining so much about exercise

How the forget do you get away with this stuff? It's 100% flaming.

actually op is pretty whiny

ok here let me adjust and specify

First off, at the beginning of the day, we have an "activity" period that helps us "wake up" and "be alert" for the test. forget no.

sorry but sitting in a chair for 7 hours doing nothing but scribbling on a piece of paper is pretty boring

At the beginning of the day, we have an "activity" period that helps us "wake up" and "be alert" for the test. forget no. Initially, some of the stuff we do is competitive against other classes. If you think about it, that puts pressure on us to win the games, which gets us stressed out when testing time comes. What the hell? Really?

it isn't the olympics if you're being competitive it's your own fault

- Walking while balancing a tennis ball in a spoon
- Throwing stuff into a hula hoop
WHAT THE forget. How does that even help us with the tests?! The other stuff we do on other days are so cliche, such as wall jumps, practically running around in loving circles and jumping jacks. I want to throw myself out a window.

time filler/keeps you awake

Second, we can't do anything other than the test. Now that's ok for not allowing electronics but we can't even read BOOKS. The reason? Well, to keep checking the test. Lemme translate actually. They are forcing us to sit at our desks and re-read a test over and over for about 45 minutes since we all finish super early, to bore us to loving death. Seriously.

good to know you don't care about your grades? love society

Third, they always have to go through the same goddamn routine. Every day, we have 2 tests so we keep listening to the instructions and doing the examples over and over and loving over. We get we need a No. 2 pencil! We understand we have to completely bubble in an answer! We aren't loving handicapped! Seriously, stop it! I know it's not the school's fault for that, I'm directing it to the BOE.

actually a lot of people in middleschool are dumb and screw up their tests even with repetition so it's kind of necessary!!

7. Do not flame - If the entire point of your post is to tell someone what an idiot they are, don't bother.

Please explain to me how this doesn't make a perfect example of flaming.

His entire post was calling him a whiny idiot.

Um, are you a handicap?

This was no sob story, this is a rant. There's a difference.

Also, the "points" you made in your post mean nothing, you probably didn't even read the whole thing.

Um, are you a handicap?

coming from the collective hivemind of 7 asian girls and some other 13 year old

Also, the "points" you made in your post mean nothing, you probably didn't even read the whole thing.

i just made points on the entire post this is a literal impossibility

In Maryland we call these the MSAs.
