it's probably there to fill in time since having school start or get out at a weird time is pretty useless for everyone involved

lol, my grade is the "Guinnea pig" grade of testing. Infact the district is wasting 12 dollars on every student to take a test on stuff from the whole year (even stuff we didnt learn yet) for Italian

it isn't the olympics if you're being competitive it's your own fault If the game's specific intentions are to be competitive, then it entices you to be competitive. That's redundant to the highest degree.

ugh i explained earlier it messes up the school schedule for everyone

you don't have to be competitive unless you want to, if you're distracting yourself then stop taking it so seriously

For one thing, they measure exactly naught and my school only does them so they can receive funding. The reason they measure nothing is that a student can easily guess at the answer and get it right - hell, at my school, they practically encourage this.
So yeah. It's a flawed system that needs to be a) updated or b) thrown out entirely.
