Google chrome crashes whenever I go to google (it keeps happening)

yea pretty loving smart of ol' google huh
whenever I go to google, it always ends up with the browser crashing
if I just search something or go to google, it doesn't crash immediately, it usually happens in a few minutes
but if I search something and then click on a result, it immediately crashes and then I punch my laptop and stuff all over it

I would google the problem...
but
if u need me to finish that sentence im gonna knock u the forget out

someone mind being a kind generous soul and looking it up and/or whatever
i've already restarted my laptop and this has been going on for a few days

Check everything, and clear everything from the beginning of time.

That always solves my problems.

its also recommended to clear your cache at least once a month.

edit : also you don't need to check everything, just empty cache and cookies.
but I guess checking it all is also good.

this used to happen to me before but with the starbound site, its fixed now and I forget what I did besides clearing my cache.
do you got any extensions installed?

Yeah, try to keep your browsers as bare as possible, Jetlok.

Sometimes, websites/whatever will ask you to install their extensions and you may absent-mindedly accept.

So it's good to check periodically for add-ons or extensions you don't need/want.

somewhat maybe related to the problem: when i went to make an account on the starbound site, it made chrome get all weird and i had to forcibly kill the page before things started responding again, so i ended up having to create the account using internet explorer
and about the extensions, a few, but I haven't downloaded a new one in a long time
