Author Topic: Cargo Ship (lots of pictures)  (Read 2186 times)

I built this cargo ship a few weeks ago and now I feel like showing it to everyone. It took me about a week to build this, because I work really slowly and procrastinate a lot. I hope you enjoy it!

Nice boat! But (always a but) there could be a bit more containers and/or wider to fit more containers usually they are stacked on top of each other not just a row of 1 with gaps in between the containers.

the center of the top seems too flat. it seems too flat overall, other than that, it is nice.

How so?
Don't listen to Sylv he is just jealous of your beauty. It's actually pretty decent. The Foward section looks a little odd but other than that, Good job.

How did you get no lines on those bricks?

The interior is great, but the exterior shape of the ship overall is odd.

It's way too narrow.
Yeah, I guess it is. Thanks for pointing it out!

Very nice work. Interesting choice of ship design too. Not many people go for the Great Lakes Bulk Carrier look. I'm glad to see a change from the standard container ship or Titanic remake.

The interior could use some work; it's not bad as-is, but it's still rather bare & lacking in detail.
You might also lessen the slope of the hull near the waterline. As it is now, it looks like the whole ship could just tip over at any minute.
The forecastle is also way too tall. It should be about even with the aftcastle

Overall, a good build. Not great, but good. 8/10.

Pretty good, always room for improvement

7/10

You see the lamps? Remove the containers and build a road on it, instant aircraft carrier and ship road.

The cargo containers should be closer together and preferably stacked two or three high. Other than that, this ship looks fabulous. I trust I'll get to see it firsthand! :P
