Author Topic: Check out my new computer! v2  (Read 7720 times)

Holy stuff tf2 took 2 seconds to get to the main menu. Takes me 5 minutes on my old PC. Also no framerate issues on max settings.

I don't know why people are saying my pc is stuff. It's running better than that stuffty other 600 dollar pc I got which IS stuff.

So you can go "Stahp guis, please stahp"? Also I don't care about his computer. It just didn't make sense how he ignored all advice he was given in his last thread. It was that people kept arguing for something they were completely wrong about and ignoring evidence.

In short, I'm still right y'all can suck richard yo.

he needed it NOW if you didn't read the thread.

he had perfectly good reasoning for ignoring their advice.

now, let's look at the price/time ratio when we buy a computer pre built from the retail store:
$750 > take computer home > hook up computer > start using computer.
now to build a computer:
$??? (depends on the parts) > wait 3-7 days for said parts to arrive > spend 1-3 hours assembling computer > hook up computer > install windows > install drivers > start using computer.

once again, lord tonys reasoning for ignoring everybodys advice is because he doesn't have the loving time to build one
and since he doesn't have a backup computer to use the web with till he can build one that leaves him with the retail store pre built being the fastest and least torturous option for him.

If you could read, I said there are better prebuilts. Even an alienware desktop would have been better for the same price if not a little cheaper.

ordering online =/= retail.

Last time I checked that's his problem to deal with, not yours.  Stop being a richard.

there are multiplayer pc games you know

there are multiplayer pc games you know
with a console you can sit on the couch with your buds and play a few rounds while throwin down some chips and slammin some pepsis
with pc's you either all sit alone in your dark basements and play online or you lug a huge tower and a monitor and a keyboard and a mouse and blablabla over to your friends' house and then set up some tables and then find some more power strips and set everything up and then finally play a few rounds

as much as i love pc's, consoles clearly win in this department
