Pretty sure he's not in college, and I'm pretty positive he doesn't have a job requiring internet.
oh look devildogelite is trying to back his own argument with his own assumptions pulled out of thin air again. i've never seen this before.

but seriously, it's goddamn handicapped to say, "well he couldn't have a job that requires internet or need it for college because i say so!"

This one or this one.

He'll have to wait a few days a week at max for this to arrive for instore pickup, which has no shipping costs. It's a lot better though.

LOL

Mine has a 2 TB harddrive and 10gb of memory. $750

Those have 1 tb haddrive and 8 gb memory. $748.99!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My computer is better than the ones you just posted for the same price.

I've never heard him say he's going to school. I highly doubt he has a job that requires internet, they're usually not something you get with no special skills. I never said I know for a fact, just I'm pretty positive. So why are you right for saying he needs it for school and a job. Though if he were in school he could just go to the library.

Awwww man :c Hope you forgive me.

10 GB Ram? How is that even possible?

I've never heard him say he's going to school.
i've never said i go to school. does that mean i don't as well? just because he doesn't say something about his life on the internet doesn't make it false.

I highly doubt he has a job that requires internet, they're usually not something you get with no special skills.
he could be a computer science genius and you would have no idea. but that's just an example. my above point still stands.

I never said I know for a fact, just I'm pretty positive.
if you don't know for a fact, why are you using it to defend your argument? it's a mute point.

So why are you right for saying he needs it for school and a job.
i'm not. i'm saying you're silly for denying the possibility because you're "pretty positive" based on absolutely nothing.

Though if he were in school he could just go to the library.
irrelevant sidestep.

10 GB Ram? How is that even possible?
two four gb ram sticks + a two gb'er.

Kaphonaits you are such a douche. You act like assumptions can never be used in an argument. I hope you message me a few days later to just tell me assumptions are bad again.

And saying he could use the library at school isn't irrelevant. If he needs the internet for school he can use the internet at school.

what if the library is closed.

what then

there is nothing wrong with buying a prebuilt comp.
a "custom prebuilt" is just as good and costs just as much as just you "custom" building one.

this isnt 2002 where the only good comp you had to buy parts on your own. custom is custom. prebuilt or not, they cost just as much. its literally a free assembly fee they add on basically.

in fact a bulk buy prebuild usually has free shipping from most places. so instead of shipping a dozen parts, most times separately, its cheaper.

10 GB Ram? How is that even possible?

windows 64bit can use up to 128gigs of ram.
and most modern computers have 4 ram slots.
and ram sticks can go by 1,2,4 gigs each.

there is a puzzle there that makes 10

He may be a douche.

But you're an absolute jackass who wants nothing but a reason to be mad at someone.

Kaphonaits you are such a douche.
well ok. slander it is!

You act like assumptions can never be used in an argument.
most of the time they can't. especially in the situations you use them in. if you want to win an argument (prove you're correct) show your opponent hard data, not just generalizations or assumptions. especially in response to a direct point such as "what if he needs it for school or work?" because responding to something like this with an assumption makes your side of the argument weak because it lacks evidence or any sort of data that you can argue back with to effectively counter that point.

I hope you message me a few days later to just tell me assumptions are bad again.
nah.

And saying he could use the library at school isn't irrelevant. If he needs the internet for school he can use the internet at school.
it's irrelevant because it's just a weak possibility that's so circumstantial it's not even funny.

what if he doesn't live at the school and he needs to write a report?
what if the library isn't open when he needs to use a computer?
what if it's a low income school and is lacking any public use computers at all?
etc.

TF2 runs at 60fps on my new computer. I believe I ran at 30fps or less with my old computer. It was so hard to do anything.
