Gamecube rip-off.

It's not sarcasm and it's not a joke. It's being an starfish and trying to pick a fight. Leave this thread and let the good people discuss steambox without you as an annoyance.

It is a joke, if you cannot understand it as one you sure have proven your stupidity/disability to understand humor as simple as it may be. Why would anyone fight over whether or not is Steambox a loving rip-off from Gamecube? There is no way that would make any sense in a million years. Its like saying that the Xbox Kinect is a rip-off from Playstation eye toy.

Aside from that, I wonder what the controller looks like, or will the Steambox have a controller at all. What would the game boxes look like? Most importantly, what will happen to the PC steam? I hope that the Steam Box isn't a simple box for streaming Steam games with Big Picture from your computer on a TV. The most revolutionary thing to pop out from gaming consoles would be a built in capture card and as we all know Valve is a nest of geniuses, we will probably (Hopefully) see this in the final product. Since the idea of Big Picture was to take the Internet communities and move them on a TV screen in your living room with easy access, i do believe Steam Box is going to expand on that feature. Hopefully Steam will improve on their web browser though, as we all know it is slower than Internet Explorer.

It was already confirmed that the Steam Box would be running on some form of Linux.

Teabagging taken to a whole new level.

EDIT: Oh boy, scrap that. Only now do i remember that a kettle and a teapot are two different things.
