Oh boy, a good ol' tycoon! Just the word tycoon gives me fond memories of fun, tycoon games I would play,

Roller Coaster Tycoon 2,

RCT 3,

Transport Tycoon Deluxe,
oh, we're really at no shortage of good tycoon games.
Hm, so what could go wrong with these tycoons in blockland?
Oh.It's
that kind of tycoon.
So first off I'm going to put this as briefly as possible:
GOOD
WROOOOOOONGDon't see the point? Let me explain.
So obviously a number of you have enjoyed and played at least one of the tycoon games listed at the top. You enjoyed those games, right? Replayed over and over? Loved them to death?
Okay, so now tell me: Did you
EVER get the same feeling when playing one of those tycoons on roblox? Probably not.
I mean that's not to say
all 'tycoon' games were the same but uh
Look at the 3 games at the top, then compare to the usual Roblox tycoons.
Do you see a difference?
Yes?
No?
IN THE ROBLOX TYCOONS YOU DO NOTHING BUT SIT ON YOUR GODDAMN FAT ASS WHILE WATCHUNG A RUPPE GOLBERG BLUE BALL MACHINEWhat do you do in the other tycoon games?
ACTUALLY CONSTRUCT THINGS IN A CERTAIN MANNER AND MANAGE TO OBTAIN PROFIT.In the Roblox tycoons you are literally sitting around waiting for an object to go through a contraption straight from MIT to a black square where the object gives you monies.
That's it.
You're doing nothing more than watching paint dry.
In fact, most of them are
so boring that they actually have an obby to kill time while you wait for your blue balls to get from one end of the machine to the other.
Oh come on. You know something's wrong with a gameplay style if it
needs a TIMEKILLING FEATURE.
In games like RCT or TTD, you're not sitting on your ass in order to progress through the game.
You're actually building rides/transportation systems in a manner that will give you profit. You're not sitting around the whole time. While you do sit around a bit, that probably one of the last thing on your list when playing those games. You're almost always open to doing more things to get you profit. In Roblox you have to wait around for 5 minutes just to get your
walls set up.
It's pretty simple. Why has this not come to mind?
Okay, I know, trying to do something like TTD/RCT in Blockland is a bit extreme but it can't be
that extreme for Blockland, right?
I just don't get how nobody saw the problem with Roblox tycoons and also didn't even acknowledge the idea of tycoons like TTD and RCT.
Well, that's that.
