homoloveuals dont "draw attention to themselves", they dress appropriate to their interests and tastes. it feels abnormal to you because it's unlike what you're used to; the same can be said for loads of people who aren't familiar with how gays stereotypically dress. they have every right to be surprised when somebody makes fun of them - why should somebody be singled out for how they compose themselves
