when he is explaining, he generalizes it as all gay people, rather than a few.  And those may either be proud of who they are, going through a phase, enjoy what they are doing, or just their personality.  And sometimes its none of those things.  Sure there are gays that attract attention to themselves, but there are plenty of straight people who do the same thing.  I think people are just getting angry at the generalization rather than his question.

well being proud of who they are is irrelevant, going parading down the halls with rainbow colors will get them ridiculed and they should know that
of course not all gay people do that but the person mentioned in the op did and thats why op asked

also what do you mean by straight people attracting attention to themselves

He means there are just as many straight people who do this as gay people.

i know but i don't understand what he means by straight people attracting attention to their loveuality

I think OP might be secretly in the closet and is using this thread for cover.
You may be completely right.

I don't see where he says that. And I know guys who are incredibly proud of their heteroloveuality. Well, mostly of how many women they've scored, but it seems like basically the same thing to me.

also, those are the only ones you can tell are gay.  Ever seen or heard of a kid who came out and you said "wow I never knew that"  that's because they don't fit the stereotype.  There most likely tons of gay kids in your school, town, etc.  That you don't even know are gay, because they don't act like the stereotype.  So to say "all gay people" just doesn't make sense, as you don't have a full list of all the homoloveual people you know / associate with.

well i dont hang or associate with gay people at all so

well i dont hang or associate with gay people at all so
Because you're homophobic or because you're afraid that you'll get outed?

well i dont hang with gay people at all so
How do you know that if you can't tell if they're gay or not? You're making some seriously incorrect assumptions here.

well i dont hang or associate with gay people at all so
haha to be honest you probably do without knowing.

And you are constantly around one, you just don't know it yet
