Well, first post...
OK, back to business. Does anyone have any thunderstorm environments? Not just rain, because I have those already. I mean with lightning and thunder and effects. If not, would anyone mine taking the time to make one?

Thank You,
x(Classifiede)x

Don't do this, we already know who you are and you don't need to put a signature in your post

Going back on topic, lightning could be possible with a little emitter magic, although thunder I'm not so sure. We have a weather emitter pack that includes a lightning particle on RTB.

Oh yeah, and ignore those guys telling you to leave. Welcome to Blockland.

Oh forget off guys, hes new. (not directed at powerdag)

Theres only the default one that I know of, and I think some rainy ones in some of the environment packs seen here; http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?board=44.0

EDIT:
http://forum.blockland.us/index.php?topic=220397.0

EDIT2: Ohhhh, lightning and thunder sounds.....

Used to be one for v8, sorta broke around v9, and was brought back as default for v11 or 12 without the thunder.
(I doubt I have the version numbers right)

I'm not sure this kind of thing is possible. One way to do it would be to create a daycycle that occasionally has a very small interval of bright light and sky, but I think you would have a VERY hard time lining that up with any events to trigger sounds for it.

Otherwise, you could just do it with events, and now that shaders take light radius into account, you could create an extremely large (but not extremely bright) white light to simulate thunder. The downside to that is that the sky wouldn't light up, because there aren't any events to change the environment.

TL;DR: Even if someone had the time, it doesn't appear easily possible at this point.

Alright thanks and I've been playing for many years, just never joined te forums untill now.
