105°c is above boiling temp.
It's above the boiling point of water. Semiconductors aren't made of water. 105c isn't exactly a safe temperature, but it won't melt your GPU lol.

People buy the product after sampling enough that it's profitable.  But I guess it's free if you have no intention of buying the product.
