So, new forum adventure thing, drawn by me. This is completely community driven, as long as it fits with the…

BACKSTORY: In the year 2159, an unknown alien race arrived on earth. They came in a small military fleet, believed to be the brunt of their military power. Humanity quickly quashed the threat, though the influx of new technology began to destabilize many governments. Thus, when the aliens returned in a much more powerful fleet, humanity was unprepared.

The entirety of the globe was annihilated, leaving only a few stragglers.

Though, one of the aliens from the first fleet (that had been a human test subject) awoke, in the middle of the now-collapsed Washington DC. This is where our story begins.

First things first. What are you?

My name is Xeonile, I was an engineer on the fleet but have developed strong bonds with the Humans, I was outcasted for my beliefs and labeled a traitor, I was put in captivity for three years under one of the Human government's surveillance.

Oh, should've made that more clear. By "You" I mean the character that this story follows. I may add community characters in later, but as of now, just the alien.

I updated my post, sorry, I didn't see I was an alien.

Awesome. I also quite like the backstory you've provided. (I was thinking of adding some "human sympathizer" plot later on, but now works too)

Thanks.

Please work more on this?

Chapter 1, Part 1: Recollections.

The shock from your reawakening starts to fade. Your thoughts clear, and you remember what trapped you in this mess in the first place.

You'd been the chief engineer of the fighter squadron responsible for the most damage to the American cities.

Things took a turn when you started to express sympathy towards the humans, however. The high council deemed you unfit to work and attempted to have you arrested.

This was not how it played out. You escaped via a small courier shuttle, but were shot down by a human infantryman.

You land in a field after gliding some ways away. When you awake, you see a man standing over you.

"You're… alive?" He says, fear evident in his eyes.
