Author Topic: My fancy calculator  (Read 1603 times)

I currently have the TI-84 Plus. I got this for free (long story) but it's retail price is $114. This thing is basically a mini computer. I can play loving fruit ninja on it. If anyone else has it, share your interesting stories with it.

Current OS: MirageOS
Current Apps:
- Fruit Ninja
- Pac Man
- Pong
- Slime Soccer
- Federal Elephant Control
- Paper Mario

If you don't see the advantages of this
imagine how much nicer it will be to space out playing pacman or playing fruit ninja during math class w/o your teacher flipping.

How do you play games on your calculator?

I have TI 84.

I got a TI-84 too.

I really want to know how to do this.

OK GUYS
I just added Paper Mario and Federal Elephant control so time for tutorial

Step A) Download TI-Connect
Step B) Search up the latest operating system for your OS, right click it, and send to TI device. (it has to be plugged in)
Step C) When that is done, search up MirageOS 1.2
Step D) Do the same thing you did with Step B, this is downloading the file.
Step E) Look for games here.
Step F) Download them.
Step G) Enjoy.

i play games on my phone

we didnt have that luxury when i was in school. txt nessaging didnt even exist yet, no one wanted a cell phone when all it did was make calls lol.

why people would play games on a calculator in this day and age seems rediculous.

well in math class if you have a calculator and you are viciously jamming buttons into it it'll just look like you are trying to me a mathlete.
if you have a phone out
you must
prepare your star fish

I imagine it as a really stuffty black and white screen

it's actually pretty fun.

I have two TI-84 Silver Editions :P

I have a TI-84 Silver Edition and a TI-34 MultiView.

I have a mac
it is basically a calculator

The TI-84 was required when I was in HS.

My dad had a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition, but my cousin lost it.
It was fun messing around with it.
