Author Topic: My ping is high. (Read 2995 times)

So I get in garrys mod like 200-400 ping at times on servers, also this happened in Ace of spades which i got today.
What should I do?
My internet isn't stuff, its a good comcast ethernet with atleast 20 Mb/s download and 3-5 Mb/s upload.
And also, this isn't a "HURP DRP PST SPEEDYTESTSLOLOL" thread, I am going to try alot of things to get my internets back to normal.
Anyway, any advice I can get?

ping is different from download and upload.

I don't really want to due to the fact that its right behind my monitor and I have no idea how because I haven't really played around with it.
It also holds the entire network we have together.

Ontopic: Have you tried to figure out what is hogging up the bandwidth? Having netflix or steam up can REALLY take up some bandwidth.
