Just shut the forget up and stop acting like an idiot.

Ontopic: Have you tried to figure out what is hogging up the bandwidth? Having netflix or steam up can REALLY take up some bandwidth.
I'm using steam for the game, I'm running a scan to see if its any viruses or anything.

aaaand another topic by Maxx!

As I said, reset your router/modem.

Avast is a nice scanner. Even the free one.

Yeah I know. I'm poor. Sue me.
What kind of starfish would sue a poor person

Probably a stuffty idea, I have comcast and I am able to download norton, should I just for a scan?

I haven't messed around with my router/modem, so I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing with it, I use a xfinity router/moden also.

You really should reset your router to see if that helps. Just ask anyone who is using it if it's okay with them first.

To reset it all you have to do is literally look for the power button, press it, wait like ten seconds, and press it again. Also I don't know if this only works with some or not but at least with mine you can also reset it remotely in the router control panel.

Hope this helps.

Well, I haven't had to touch my modem since getting Uverse, but if I remember correctly, just unplug it for 30 seconds and plug it back in.

Should I try replugging the ethernet cord?

Should I try replugging the ethernet cord?
That may work, but I meant the router and/or modem's power source. As in unplugging it from an outlet.
