Author Topic: I don't even understand anymore  (Read 1387 times)

Seriously, I don't. All I ever do is get hacked.. I'm part of some pretty sketchy communities on the internet that may or may not dedicate themselves to hacking but I'm mostly a lurker on all of those such as I am here. But the thing is, is that everything I have is getting hacked. My Skype, Facebook, Twitter, Gmail, Steam, League Of Legends you name it. Pretty much everything that has a username and a password from here to loving China has been bloody hacked by some Hong Kong-ese computer expert. I've checked everything for viruses. EVERYTHING. And don't even start me on virus scanners.

You think that's it? Oh no wayyy, there's way more. I get DDOS'd, like all the time. No matter how many VPN's, IP change's or whatever I do they still manage to DDOS me no matter what and it's really beggining to annoy me. My internet is completely knocked out for the majority of time when I'm at home. Thankfully it has however subsided for like 3 days. At this point though, I'm pretty loving confused. I've got some knowledge with computers and although it isn't alot and lets face it any idiot could work this one out is that what this guy is doing to me requires some Grade A skill. Either that or some rich kid with a pay pal account is paying a guy 9 metric stuff tonnes of cash - which with all the 10 year olds running around the internet right now I wouldn't be that surprised.

I can honestly say that I've done nothing to piss anyone off that would make them go out of their way to forget me up this much, I mean seriously I rarely make people angry on the internet and even then they're not even that angry and it's more of a small argument than anything else.

The purpose of this topic wasn't really to ask for help but was to just  present my rage to a community that won't be all like 'LOL MORE DDOS 4 U KID'. But really guys, any advice or help and I'd be grateful.

brb getting ddos'd again

stop falling for phishing scams

stop falling for phishing scams

Yeah right, if a phising scam ddos' me i'll have to rethink my understanding of the internet.

Get a new isp and stop signing up for sketchy research sites; you should be fine then.

Let's just pretend I'm not as incompetent as 70% of the people on the internet for a moment and say that it's probably not a website that's inflicted me with this crap, because at this point in time I'm pretty damn sure a research site hasn't given me this

Call the loving cops or something

Call your Internet provider and ask for help

Shady research sites buddy
All of their ads are photoshopped
Don't fall for it

yeah blame everyone else
there is no possible way it could be your fault

reinstall the OS on every computer buy new modem/router and stay out of sketchy communities.

Sounds like some spyware
Or if your really dumb phishing scams

Call the loving cops or something

Call your Internet provider and ask for help
This.

Isn't it illegal to do such things as shown in OP? I'm 99% sure DDoS'ing is a cybercrime/actual crime if I remember correctly, and hacking just one account may not be illegal but hacking every single account you have has to have some type of offense to it, and if your credit card account/paypal/whatever account you hold money with is also hacked, then that should also be a crime too, sorry if i'm wrong with one of these as i'm not an expert at cybercrime, but try reporting all that is in OP to your Internet Provider/ISP/Authorities.

Edit: Oh and also, there may not be an exact location of your "guy", he may not be in Hong Kong or China or whatever, considering they may use a proxy or whatever changes their IP.

This random guy popped up one day and ddos'd me out of the blue, I returned the favour. Hold up before you think I deserved it, this is normal. It's a kind of game people play to test their systems - it's all friendly stuff though. Me and the guy actually exchanged friendly messages now and again. Then he pretty much vanished off the board for 8 months. If this is him he's come back with some serious firepower and a huge grudge. I also traced him every time i've been ddos'd and you're right. He is using a proxy. Basically what i'm saying is that the police are not an option here.
