Need help with chat functions

That code seems to be using a pretty convoluted approach, but generally, yeah, this method is better.
Consider just using team chat to indicate "special chat intent" if you're just going to have one type of "special chat", though.

Well I'm actually using 3 different types of chat not including the local one. So I need to use markers and I figured just using the normal chat would be the easiest thing for people to do.
