Author Topic: What would you do with a Raspberry Pi?  (Read 1634 times)

Me? First, I'd setup Wireless Network via a usb. Then it'd make a robot controlled with my MacBook via internet

make a secret bitcoin mining rig,

make a tiny voice controlled computer in a binder,

make a personal assistant,

make a light switch controller for day/night,

make an irc server for friends at school,

make a solar powered device to power it off of, then make a portable solar powered music player,

lots of possibilities really.

i have one, use it as xbmc

anyone heard of a hackberry? they seem very cool.

The first thing I would do is turn it on.

id make a case for it first

I have one. I tried putting an atari emulator on it but gave up after awhile. It's a cool piece of technology though.

Math doesn't come in flavors

make a secret bitcoin mining rig,
That would take a long time, wouldn't it?

Run a XBMC-based (OpenELEC) media center on it and connect it to a TV.

.. which is already what I do with the Raspberry Pi I already own.

Make my own operating system. Play games that require good specs. Make more stuff
