Ok, so maybe the contributing factor to the Swiss culture being so different is that they have mandatory gun laws?

Don't get me wrong, mandatory ownership is just as unconstitutional as banning/restricting ownership, however.

The only thing gun bans do is bar the law abiding people from getting guns. If I wanted to murder an entire movie theater full of people, a gun ban would be the least of my concerns.

countries with gun bans have much fewer murders

always remember that marijuana is illegal in most states too

and it's quite easy to get that
