Not that impressive...
Options
A) Lots of small vertical print like things with a brick overlapping mod
B) Prints

Quite impressive! Can't be vertical prints, did you even count dem pixels dummy!? Theres about 5 for a 1x square vertical prints even with overlapping would only be 2 per 1x square. Even if it is a print, it is a bloody changing print! Imagine the potential! It looked like when you activated the brick the color per those squares changed from red to random. Very cool more information please?

No prints were used in this video.

I saw something similar on ports server.
dirty witchcraft obviously

Those are emitters. Look at 0:16, they stand out from the red surface behind. edit: below

That's to stop Z-fighting.

So they're not emitters? Show a video of it displaying an actual image and not random dots.

edit: I guess it could be staticshapes, anything really.

Correct. It's still in it's early stages and I hope to get it to the point where it can display full images across much larger surfaces.

Reminds me of when i saw that animated Leekspin thing

This could also have been done with setPrint and relays.  VCE could be added for randomization.

He used staticshapes so that he could program more than just an animated clip.
