Ok, I tried to get on Steam for the past year but have all failed.

I made 4 accounts already, but none of them work. Even the application won't work in my computer.

Seriously, Steam is really pissing me off.

that means either you suck, your computer sucks, or your internet sucks. steam has nothing to do with the fact that you can't perform such a simple task as installing something.

If you were to actually manage to get steam working and get online, I imagine your account would be hacked by the first phishing attempt to come your way. It's probably for the best you can't get it to work.

I know it's a joke, but Steam runs perfectly fine on my Win 8 comp. Actually, Windows 8 is pretty decent aside from the fairly ugly GUI and the fact that you sometimes accidentally switch from Desktop mode to the stupid App mode.

this came from no where and I get like 20 event popups a day. it has its flaws but I like steam alot

You sure you installed steam from the official site, out correctly, cause I don't think that should ever happened..
