Still. If it's the same guy from youtube, you-know-what was Tony's work, which breaks the you-know-what rule, or does it only apply to the forums?

um... you can do whatever you want if you're not on the forum
seriously? you'd have to really want someone banned to assume they could get banned here for that

I don't think you understand how big the trading market is, if you're smart on how you can trade you can trade for all of your games.

don't think you understand how stupid it is that people pay for virtual hats. lol

it's not just tf2 ... real money for virtual hat in any game is dumb.

But I thought Badspot posted something about Lord Tony would be banned for any post related to a certain subject, thus why he doesn't talk about it anymore.

He'll get in trouble for speaking about the subject of about which we do not speak... about?

If I can buy a hat for $4 and then turn it around for 3 keys and sell those 3 keys for $2.16 (Fixed this to current market price) each it's no longer dumb.

I traded a bunch and bought Bad Company with like 6 or 7 keys.

If I can buy a hat for $4 and then turn it around for 3 keys and sell those 3 keys for $2.40 each it's no longer dumb.

the act of buying it and selling to idiots isn't dumb. but the idiots who buy it because they want a new hat are dumb.

if you can turn a profit from idiots of course it's a good idea lol

I thought we have a whole Megathread for this subject, so I believe we do talk about it.
I'm not mentioning it because if Lord Tony replies to said subject, it would probably get him [or me] banned.

I'm guessing most of the people on the market are buying and selling trying to make a profit.

(Except those people like Tony trying to make just enough to buy a game)

Blame me for that, I'm not always good with words.

Anyone saying TF2 trading is dumb, is even more dumb.  I've made ~$750 just from TF2 and the two/three years I've been playing it.

OT;
Tony you do realize support isn't going to do diddly-stuff for you, right?

TF2 trading for profit isn't dumb. the people buying the hats for the sake of hats are dumb.

There's probably like 2% of the TF2 community who collects hats.  Another 2% only play the game for profit.

The rest enjoy collecting high value items and play the actual game, and at the end of their backpack, they usually make a decent profit.
