My hands made the shape of a mask

I've been wanting to do this for a while


Painted and design around the edge carved/etched

Sanded puttied and I cut the design out

Stained

 just so you can see its not flat

stained again last night

I've put about 10 hours or so into it but if/when I make another it'll be much easier and faster because I won't be making everything up as I go along its not quite done needs to be stained a few more times and I have to figure out how and where to put straps on it
its not as nice as I had hoped and its not exactly what I wanted it to turn out as but then almost nothing ever is and its not as bad as I thought it might be so I'm kinda happy so far

I'm not sure should carve some patterns all over it and maybe ink them or not? or inlay some copper in viney patterns maybe

I'm messing with you yea last night I took two of the sleepy pills and I only had a little trouble sleeping but the only problem with these pills is I feel drugged the next day
still its better than only getting 2 and a half hours sleep so I'm just going to keep taking them and go to the doc maybe and try and keep on keeping on

Pepakura is cool and I plan to get into it sometime but mine is stronger and honestly your post somehow comes of richardish to me

Wan't trying to be richardish, but if you haven't tried pepakura you really should. It takes a long time but it's so worth it. Also after you complete the paper model you can resin it and it's pretty strong.

you should get some leather and make a strap

after that you should make a hood type thing with a darker piece of leather, that connects to the mask

I'm going to put a strap on it and I'm jot sure what you mean about attaching a hood to it but I already have a freaking awesome cloak thing with a hood that I use

if u make me a mask ill give you a great big hug or like $2

hue I might do it for say 30$ or so but not yet I want to make a few more different designs and see if I can get faster at producing them first
