The "ideas" that exist in your CRP existed before your CRP, though I admit you were the first to actually execute them.

And by the way, I can prove that, the old RPGX topic discusses these things long before your CRP was even a twinkle in your eye.
I was talking about the models that you ripped and didn't even make your own brick icons, just copied an image that I posted over a year ago. Not to mention the fact that you copied and pasted Safe.cs without even bothering to convert the code.

Can you make it nicely event compatable?

Example: onActivate > Client > bankGui

so we can use any brick?

I asked snk12 politely to remove those: he did not. He put these in himself and ignored my warnings.

I refuse to assist him further until he removes such. My current RPGX source has no relevance to your models, as it should be.

You put those in, snk12 is incapable of anything and can't even tie his own shoes.
You even said so in your PM to me.

I did not put these in, though he may have obtained the mod through unknown means.

I've been trying to get rid of the models that were put in but, again, snk12 is an idiot. I suspect someone else put the models in; its as you said, snk12 is incapable of tying his own shoes.

First you put them in
Then snk12 put them in
And now someone else put them in

Get your story straight or quit lying.

Few people have access to my mod and few people have access to your mod.
Only a select few have access to both, and you are one of them.

Jasa, you should be happy that people consider your work good enough that they would like to use it in their own.

Random, you should give credit to people's stuff you use, and if possible ask for permission to do so first.

You are both arguing over petty stuff

First you put them in
Then snk12 put them in
And now someone else put them in

Let me straighten this story out, this will be the last I'll say about the matter.

I did obtain the mod, but I did not give it to snk12. Snk12 repeatedly asked me to put the models in, which I did pretend I'd help him - I didn't. He put these terminals in as props and tinkered with the mod until he got them working. There was a reason I continued to be SA for so long on his server - he was in possession of RPGX for which could have been leaked out if something went wrong. I no longer care about this, so this isn't a concern. Now that I no longer care I can safely say I refute the use of these models. Snk12 wanted clickable terminals so badly because he believed they would make his server instant-good. He was wrong, and he was an idiot. There was a reason the bricks should have stayed 'step on to activate'.

Any lying done was something petty about preventing RPGX from being leaked onto the forums, but I don't care anymore.. so this doesn't matter. So please, lets forget about this. If I get an opportunity to get rid of the models, I will take it.

to unbury from argument

Wow, that actually looks.. good.
I can't wait to see it.

Old Logo or New Logo?

If someone could do a slightly better job than my stuffe attempt, some credit would be in order.

If there's some way i can help, please tell me.
OT: Humble begginings

Very nice idea! City Cubed would go good with a ton of people on the server.

It is my fault that I somehow failed to even talk about jobs, one of the most fundamentally core problems of CityRPGs and how they will be addressed in City3.

I'll quote this from our dev issues:

Quote
The Conundrum of Jobs

How do we keep the diversity of jobs, avoiding time interval paychecks, and keep the system still non convoluted? We keep it diverse by employing a lot of the core elements of the city to be associated with a profession or group profession.

Doctors heal people for money, covered by the city's treasury or corp, whichever.

Builders are paid by the corps per lot they plant or refunded in which the lot is turned over to the city.

Mechanics "fix" machines, but what exactly is there to fix? ATMs that break down? The city pays them for fixing these machines. What about sewage pipes that provide water to lots? Power lines? If these go all over the city, it'll considerably raise brick counts. A "wireless" power system is to be considered, where the city builds power conduits that provide power to all lots in a certain range. THESE can break down.

Also, these ATMs can be broken randomly by hackers and codemasters, which are described below.

Hackers can break into banks and steal a little bit of cash from their account, but if the system detects them their suspicion goes up (people that witness them breaking into the ATM can turn them in). They (the player that's hiring) can also be hired to erase their identity (aka resetting account) and get a fresh new alias with no connections to the previous identity. They would, however, lose access to their current bank account (its assumed that, really, it just empties/transfers your cash)

Law Enforcement: I'd say cash per offender caught, but also any Gang member caught will reel in cash. Be careful, a false arrest will first cost you a penalty, then a fee, then you're kicked from the Police. Obviously you need to be clean, but it pays really good money.

What else? Lawyers that get people out of jail? What about Corps and their CEOs?

There's always jobs that are not listed: people can always pay someone to do something for them like delivery. It doesn't have to be built into the system.

Keep in mind - these are developer ramblings, not word of god. None of this is final and it is subject to change.

Better not end up having to buy clothing to make yourself look different.
I hate it when people make the mod force you into a default blockhead. Asides from that, I can't wait to see this get finished, if it does get finished, that is.
