Author Topic: Brick Overlapping  (Read 911 times)

In comblocks lovey server i was working on my build, making a brick wall kinda, and i noticed a 2x1x1 brick planted into a 1x1x5, (far right) then i tryed again after posting that on the RTB chat, and i was able to do so again, this is cool as hell and i have never encountered this before. i planted 2 2x1x1 bricks in 2 2x1x1 bricks and it looked like that, (center) any thoughts as to why, maybe because theres little over 34k bricks in the server?
UPDATE: i'm haven real fun with this

aw man this wouldve been awesome if it worked

There was actually a mod for this at some point, I never tried it myself though. It didn't save and load things properly as far as I know.

Yeah, Lilboarder did made it.

It seems more likely you planted a cube while standing inside it giving the appearance of these overlapping bricks.

I got that on my old computer with some wedge bricks.
That was the moment I realized that I was the only one who could put a brick in a brick.

in reality, this is what it looked like:

yin yang must have placed and destroyed a brick with some tool like the duplorcator, and caused the empty texture of a 1x7 brick to stick there. i didn't see it when i joined.

flushtexturecache(); can fix it.
