Author Topic: Who knows a bit about LEDs?  (Read 1248 times)

You can find out which end is + or - by looking at the slope of the filament. also try to put some resistance or the led will explode.

wasn't really specific.

I need someone able to help me with telling me if the LEDs i am looking at are able to do what i want with them

LEDs make light. I cannot think of any conceivable purpose where your purposes in LEDs would be in doubt.

It also doesn't help that you haven't told us what you need to do with them.

protip: hook up double 9v batteries to a single led and get a super led!

When an LED pops  it's pretty cool. In my electronics class in high school we did a lot of stupid somewhat dangerous stuff with components.

What are you trying to do? You haven't given any idea what the project you're doing is.

its a bulb with water in it and if you give it power then its light

more power = more light
more water = more light

put them in water for super big light explosioin
or use the water inside them to make awesome drinks

trust me im an expert on this subject!!
