Author Topic: Who knows a bit about LEDs?  (Read 1234 times)

I need somebody to give me some assistance in a project i'm doing.

If you know some things about LEDs - mainly the different types and helping me find out if they're usable for this project
Please add me on skype if you can or if you can't then just PM me on the forums.

And by LED i mean yeah the "cool light things"

Example below

MIGHT be money involved if you give me the right assistance that i need.

Money, you say? >:)

*copies wiki page about LEDs*

LED = Light Emitting Diode.

They only have an input and output so there really isn't much to say about them.

Except that since they are a diode they only work one way.

Where is my cash

A light-emitting diode (LED) is a semiconductor light source.[4] LEDs are used as indicator lamps in many devices and are increasingly used for other lighting. Appearing as practical electronic components in 1962,[5] early LEDs emitted low-intensity red light, but modern versions are available across the visible, ultraviolet, and infrared wavelengths, with very high brightness.

this will in fact work because it doesn't use a capacitor
