Author Topic: |bldm| - Blockland Database Management - FINISHED  (Read 5118 times)

So in my free time I've decided to work on a new project.  I won't and can't guarantee any results from this project, not even a finished result can be 100% confirmed, this is simply something I've started in my free time.  Let this be abundantly clear.

bldm - Blockland Database Management

What is bldm?
bldm, is what I've considered a community helping modification to the way the Blockland add-on system works.  It will serve as an easily-connected database that any Blockland user can connect their add-ons to without having to host their own database.  Each user will be allowed a certain amount of space, and it will be implemented in the most user-friendly way.

How does bldm help me?
bldm, will allow you to run inter-server and inter-client connections without having to create your own TCP/UDP object scripts, and most importantly, not need your own database.

What can I do to support bldm?
bldm, is mostly a personal project done by me, but anyone who feels like helping is always welcome, and most of all just verbal support is always a great motivational tool.

Current Progress?
[0]Database System fully connectable and functional - 60 - 75% - Thanks Brian!
  • Script Resource for connection fully created and working - 5%
  • [0]Fluent UI and control panel - 75% - Thanks Yola &
Tetrahedroner (however the hell it's spelled)

Brian, I do have Steam, the name is in my signature, I cannot PM.

Also, I will start heavy work on this in the next few days so expect some beta's within the next week

A large round of applause for Brian Smith for being an overachiever and completing a large portion of the server-sided database management today.
