Where is the proof?

Even though I do not agree with this "fake birth certificate" and I do think that that website is a genuine scam, I still agree that we need a much better president then what we have now. We have gone far from our constitution and I think it is time people start getting back to it and not treating it like some ancient document.

a. if they lost their job (been over this before) they should have had savings and little to no debts, welfare is available if they're actually struggling You're obviously not processing what I'm saying. If they had no other job choice and they were stuck with minimum wage, minimum wage still protects them from a lower check.

b. the country ran fine for a long time without minimum wage, this is dumb because of all the welfare our past few dearest leaders have introduced and expanded lol it ran fine for companies and corporations! People were working in sweatshop conditions while their bosses were making a huge profit!

c. this is an english country, if they can't speak english they can either find a spanish employer, learn english, or not come here in the first place I hope you know our country doesn't have an official language. I also hope you know that your ancestors, assuming that they weren't anglo, didn't speak a word of english when they came over to the US (most likely.) I know that mine, who came from France, Germany, and Ireland didn't speak but a few words of it (my Irish ancestors were from rural Ireland, so they spoke Gaelic.)

why does ANYONE drop out of highschool we have a free public education system with bus service Why does anyone drop out? Are you kidding me? There are so many situations that could lead to someone dropping out! Stop ignoring them!

you're just embarrassing yourself now

oh and

people who make $250k+ per year need access to welfare and food stamps too
or else
how would they feed their kids?

you're just embarrassing yourself now

oh and

a. i'm trying to tell you that they're not going to be stuck on minimum wage forever, the chance of them getting a lowpaying job at the minimum wage is lower if the minimum wage is lower, since instead of all low-paying jobs being forced to whatever the minimum wage is, there's more room for companies to decide what they want to pay

b. if that was actually a problem 200 years ago there would've been constitutional amendments

c. de facto language is english. are you dumb or something? and the euro immigrants (specifically irish) were coming away from famines, wars, and mass unemployment and were willing to work hard, and they worked hard enough they gained renown for their willingness to work and had no problems being hired

d. voluntarily dropping out is dumb. never getting a GED or finishing highschool at the age of 18 is also dumb

a. i'm trying to tell you that they're not going to be stuck on minimum wage forever, the chance of them getting a lowpaying job at the minimum wage is lower if the minimum wage is lower, since instead of all low-paying jobs being forced to whatever the minimum wage is, there's more room for companies to decide what they want to pay ...And companies will pay even lower than minimum wage then. It's called corporate greed, my friend.

b. if that was actually a problem 200 years ago there would've been constitutional amendments Have you ever heard of the reform movement? Stop ignoring the facts and spurting out bull.

c. de facto language is english. are you dumb or something? and the euro immigrants (specifically irish) were coming away from famines, wars, and mass unemployment and were willing to work hard, and they worked hard enough they gained renown for their willingness to work and had no problems being hired No stuff, same with the immigrants today from Mexico

d. voluntarily dropping out is dumb. never getting a GED or finishing highschool at the age of 18 is also dumb Again, that's very ignorant to say
I'm getting tired of this argument, it's going nowhere. I'm going to stop answering.
edit: we should just stop this discussion overall

we need a female president

The polarization of the United States is tearing us apart. Damn you bipartisans.

You mean Andrew Jackson?

He was a mess.
No, I mean Andrew Johnson...

From a personal viewpoint which favors personal judgement over the law, I say no.
Honestly, the law that someone needs to be born in Murica to be a leader seems stupid to me. Why does someone's birthplace decide if they're a good leader or not?
Now, if the actual debate is over his faking his birth certificate (assuming he did), what the forget Obama. But I still feel like he was sort of forced to do that, because the way the country works, admitting to it would have forced him to resign anyway.

Looking back on this thread I can safely say polarization is what is going to break the United States into smaller nations.

I am convinced Kearn is tribal, hating the poor minorities.
I'm a minority and I'm white. It's a weird feeling when over 80% of your school is Mexican. (I live in California)
