Author Topic: is there ever going to be a time when 3d printers are cheap?  (Read 1774 times)

Depends on what you want to get

you wernt joking because you have been going on seriously the entire topic about it.
if you even have one, it sucks from your descriptions.
these things arent cheap at all.
Apparently you don't know about going with the joke. In all seriousness, I used to have one, but it got stolen.

Definitely

Just look how expensive the computer was when it was first released to the public

how much is the material for these things anyways?
Depends on what type of 3D printer you have.

quality multi-material printers can range from 800 to 1200, and considering those same printers were tens of thousands of dollars less than five years ago, it's completely reasonable to assume they're going to be more accessible in price.

even paying 1000 for a GOOD one doesnt seem too bad. with all the stuff you could do with one.

On the vice youtube channel there's a 3d printed gun that works just as well as a real one

Human tissues and stuff can be printed. And so can gun parts and stuff.

The concept is cool as forget when you think of all the things you can make yourself.

How big of a butt plug can you make?
