If you were to have a plastic bullet it could very well fall apart making it pretty much no lethal.

There is plastic as strong as steel now and it's much lighter.

I bet it's super easy to make bullets out of too. Also if it's lighter that's not a good thing. If you read anything I posted, it's all about that sweet 1/2 mass * velocity^2. The heavier and the faster it is, the better.

It weighs about the same as brass bullets which is what bullets are commonly made of anyways but it's harder than brass.

Another thing about bullets is, when they hit something they don't stay the same shape. Softer bullets hit a body, then they mushroom or fragment. That does a lot more damage than if it were to go straight through. Well normally, at least.

Nobody is using plastic bullets, and nobody is going to be plastic bullets any time soon.

The hard bullets are for armor piercing, is what the steel plastic bullets are for. Much cheaper than steel itself too.

They could probably make some sort of body armor out of it, also. The plastic, I mean.

so you are saying if I am skydiving with some other random dude, falling at 1500m/s, if that dude gains a little more speed and touches me, I'm dead?
what the hell is this

it'll probably be kinda hard to kill someone, and the gun wont last long, but I think that's possible
Ceramic bullets.

The Documentary is a bit late, People have been doing this for a while now.

Sledge's Shotgun.

'nuff said.

what the flying forget
If you're both falling how would that make sense? You'd both be going 1500m/s, so to each other, it'd be like you're not moving a lot.

Now let's say you're standing on the ground and some guy falls into you at 1500m/s
you're both dead
