but im sure your great sources came from reddit or some other stuff like that lol
I'm not getting your point, how is he wrong exactly?  His point was that it's not an official US website and is completely separate from the government and it's actual readiness level.

The war of Quality versus Quantity is an interesting one because there have been examples of high tech tanks getting overrun by lesser more numerous tanks(eastern front ww2) and quality killing quantity(desert storm). If a war does start we will need to establish air dominance over the Chinese so we can hit the North Korean and Chinese tanks are exposed. SAMs and Self Propelled guns will be a threat to our helicopters.

ironcially the first time the t-34s rolled out they were superior in every way to the panzer III's and even the panzer IV's at the beginning of t-34 production.

For it's day the Tiger was a good defensive tank. However it's weight prevented it from crossing bridges and often got it stuck in mud. The T34 could have been have been countered with more Panzer IV's and Stugs.

Okay, so can someone with credible sources give an accurate assessment of the current situation?

It's currently speculated that NK MAY have nuclear capabilities, but it's very up in the air.

As far as I'm reading it, the Pentagon is publicly saying "no, they don't" to ensure panic doesn't ensue but have suspicion that they do:
Quote
Though serious questions remain about the nuclear threat posed by North Korea, a recently disclosed assessment by the Pentagon claims that Pyongyang has the ability to assemble a nuclear weapon small enough for launch via ballistic missile.

...

However, the intelligence assessment reports “moderate confidence” that the North Korean army has reached a certain level of technological threat, though Washington seems to be having trouble making up its mind: a Pentagon statement Thursday night following the hearing said it would be "inaccurate" to say North Korea has nuclear missile capability.

The assessment, which was prepared by the Defense Intelligence Agency for senior Obama administration officials and members of Congress, was classified - though a brief one-paragraph portion appears to have recently been declassified.

Its existence came to light during the budget meeting, and The New York Times speculated that it would explain why the Obama administration recently fast-tracked a new anti-missile system to Guam and began work to strengthen missile interception defenses in Alaska and California.

I'm also pretty sure that there was a moment in WWII whenever Operation Barbarossa was going on, some of the men froze to death in the Russian winter and the tank's engines froze as well.
