I haven't watched enough of the others to make an accurate list, but Matt Smith is definitely no more than #6 on the list. Mostly due to the bad writing of the 7th season.

Yeah, the writing kills it.  It's hard to determine how well he can play the doctor when the writing is meant to adapt to a group of rebellious teens.

forget, I actually stopped watching the series altogether.  Haven't seen the last like... 10 episodes or some stuff.

I didn't really like this episode. I mean, it's probably the second or third best of Season 7.

Yeah, I saw that on the Doctor Who facebook page. I don't really like Rose very much, but Tennant coming back is the second best thing ever.

The difference is that Tennant is post-time war. Which means he is always sad and has a reason to try to save everyone, because he is sad about killing all the Time lords.

Tom Baker did it because he's always right.
