Author Topic: People are mad because the Google doodle is about Cesar Chavez and not Easter  (Read 4206 times)

Google did nothing wrong. They just wanted to doodle Cesar Chavez instead of doing all of that crazy stuff.
Versions of Easter I know of;
Kids: Easter Bunny comes and stuffs eggs that have candy in them.
creepbears: Easter Bunny comes and stuffs eggs out that have candy in them. You bring some in your van and rape the kid that comes in.
Christians: The day Jesus died.

Completely agree. If I recall correctly, before he came into office the literacy rate in Venezuela was around 20%, whereas now it's around 90%.
my sides

Christians: The day Jesus died.

*the day jesus came back after death

Christians: The day Jesus died.
You realize you don't have to be christian to celebrate "jesus's death.."
*the day jesus came back after death

No but seriously. Read this

Even though I'm Christian, It really isn't googles fault that Easter and Cesar Chavez's birthday fell on the same date.
I bet someone took time into that doodle and Google promised them to show it because Google probably was gonna show an Easter doodle from last year anyways.

Plus, google's easter doodle isn't jesus on the cross which is what probably our Christian community was expecting. It has some easter eggs so I dont see why people are complaining.

Our Planetary Overlords at Google don't have to explain themselves to the likes of you.

This is just too funny XD

Doesn't everyone know that Easter is just one of those times where you go out and buy really sugary candy and then gorge yourself in the presence of your relatives? Jeez.

kearn posting about religion and is an starfish in the process?

nobody is surprised

Cesar Chavez isn't nearly as well-known as Easter, but he's a hero, so I'm glad they did this.

No, he is an starfish for calling a civil/worker rights activist a jerk nobody has heard of.

i dunno how im posting about religion im just posting about a very commonly observed holiday

A religious holiday.

irrelevant, i never mentioned its purpose, merely that it was dumb for them to ignore such a holiday
