Author Topic: I Think Its Time For A New Monitor.  (Read 1432 times)

the computers at my school have screen burns of the log-in screen because they're all old CRTs

My screen is Samsung SyncMaster 192n that my dad gave me to me.
Its his old screen and the screen is perfectly square but its a flatscreen too.

If you're looking for a quick and cheap alternative you could always go to the Good Will and pick one up. You can get useable (definitely not amazing) monitors on the crazy cheap. Pawn shops are also good but usually don't have the kind of deals that Good Will usually has.

forget.. im gonna have maxwell stuck on my screen forever
same with the quit button...

Are you sure you would like to exit program "MAXWELL V23461"?

I don't want another stuff screen, I'm gonna get something good new and modern that will last.

How good and what price range? This is a great monitor but you'll have to have a good graphics card to use it at its max resolution.

The reason modern monitors/screens don't screen burn is because they constantly move side to side by about 4-5 pixels.

I didn't even know you could get burn in on an lcd.
