So how do you guys make your profile pictures?

There was an avatar fad topic, so I made one and then made a colorshifting animation. I added the Santa hat for Christmas some years back and never swapped my avatar back.

Mine took about two hours. Animated both gifs with easytoon then added the halftone effect with photoshop.

I made a transparent background in Paintbrush. Than I put a white J on it. I than zoomed in and slowly and painfully applied the blue; one pixel at a time.
