The chances of YouTube actually accepting you as a partner drastically changes with the quality of your videos, especially gaming ones. I think that's why corporations like Machinima and Curse exist. YouTube does not normally directly partner with people who making gaming videos.

I was being scarcastic about the partnership, but I don't see why having some 'gaming videos' should matter, they're mostly my own games and blockland.
Additionally, I'd never work for (as a part of) Machinima, I've heard terriable things about them.
