Help needed with Cheat Engine.

So I have this tutorial for hacking ComputerTime using Cheat Engine:

or any other cheat engine

start it. open computertime admin. find Computertimeadmin in

Cheatengine process list and click it . now put scan for

text/strings .. duno witch one. try to login as admin on the CTA

and you get a message where you have to type in the admin pass

or "forgot your pass" press that and see what email it has . now

in CE ( cheat engine ) search for the email you see there. you

will prob get 2 " hits " on that email .. now change that in

your email. ( by first dubble clicking them at ure left and then

when they move down right clicking them and change value ). now

press yes to send the email and it should be in ure inbox . but

do remember you cant .. change the password back to what it was

before ... so your father or what ever it is will notice when he

logs on the next time. now PLAY

Open Cheat Engine
Make sure Computertime (what the forget is that) is open
Open that in the Processes list for Cheat Engine
Do a scan for Texts/Strings (try both)
Attempt to login as an admin on "Computertime"
Click Forget Password
Check the Email it will be sending to, and go to Cheat Engine and do a search for it
Find it and change it to yours
Make it send the Email
The Email should be in your inbox
*BE WARNED! YOUR PARENTS WILL NOTICE BECAUSE YOU CANNOT CHANGE IT BACK!*
now go PLAY!

It's literally called ComputerTime

Cheat Engine is a pretty good tool if you know assembly language and want to write trainers for games etc. For you I would just recommend burning a LiveCD and then deleting some critical files/the entire executable while booted from it. It's much simpler if you're having a hard time following the tutorial in the OP.


My recommendation aside here's a little diagram of my own cheatengine window which I painted over. I think this is what I want (though I might be misunderstanding your post asking where to find the buttons)


If it's still too difficult for you then I could write a little tutorial for you when I get home from class in a few hours.
