When I was younger, I used to add everyone i met and ended up having to clear my friend's list every month but now I keep my group very secluded and only with people i consider very close and have known for a long-time or i know in real life. instead of 100 friends every month i now have had a total of 30 people for the past year and a half and i don't really add anyone unless i talk or hang out with the all the time. I find it better that way because then all of my friends end up knowing each other and it becomes a huge circle of friendship that live happily ever after.

I add everyone I meet on steam just for sheer convenience. I only ever remove people if I stop liking them or if they do something bad enough to make me not want them on my friends list.

And no offense, but this topic makes you look like that kind of guy who surrounds himself with people for their attention, not for the friendship.

I generally start conversations with everyone just to see if they're still there n stuff. I don't really mind if they don't talk to me a whole lot because some people just don't like starting conversations.

I don't delete Blocklanders but I do sometimes delete people who I have no idea who the forget they are. (I keep all my blocklander friends in a group)
