I have windows 8 and it's the usual one on the left.

do you use chrome? if you do, then how could it be because of chrome, if it didn't happen to you too? and Steve said it was in 7 as well, but it hasn't happened to me either

Google tends to release updates regionally, so there is a good chance you just haven't been affected by the update yet.
