Author Topic: I drew some eyes  (Read 1569 times)

For the record, I'm 100% new to drawing. Like, the most I've done is stick figures.

Pair on the left is copied from a picture; pair on the right I made, bottom eye I copied/slightly modified from the original picture.

No, they aren't traced if you're wondering

"You are very artistic and have a lot of potential for a career in animation, or some other job under that profession. However, can you please put this in Creativity? I'm sure you'll find a lot of people interested in this there. We are mostly builders and film makers here,"

Was going to post that in the other section but you beat me to it.

probably because you spent so long thinking of what to say

:p

First eye set is Too americanized and reminds me of currently bad shows on the air.
Second eye set has to large set of eyebrows and reminds me of a bad anime
Second eye is the cooler one of the top
third eye is perfect, and i'm sure you draw better on paper, maybe.
I also recommend coloring them. I have the same problem, I put a lack of color into my art.

I don't see why he should color doodles; they're usually best when you just do them in monochrome because you can focus on design and a decent level of detail without trying overly hard to make a finished product.

Can't say these are excellent, but they are pretty decent for a beginner, albeit copying means nothing.

i guess your eyes are okay but the real deal breaker is how well you draw eyes with other things like heads maybe
