you would be suprised

Proven fact you weigh less in the mornings than in the afternoon

This is normal. For most people their weight will fluctuate up to 15 pounds depending on factors such as sleep, water intake, nutrition, exercise, salt intake, etc

It does normally move around.
You won't be an absolute constant weight, even across a short amount of time.

To get the best measurements, take off all your clothes before weighing. If you're wearing heavier clothes before weighing the scale is obviously going to pick that up.

Your scale might be crap.
The scale isn't digital. I'm the only one who uses it as well, the scale consistently reads out a 5 pound weight as five pounds.

That doesn't make sense...even if his scale was off a little, the amount that the weight fluctuates is still the same.

Unless whatever is causing it to be off isn't linear.
